Church Partnership

Food Pantry

Partnering with Christ Temple Baptist Church to feed our community year-round.

Estimated Opening — 2027

Christ Temple Baptist Church

After the pandemic changed how we distribute goods, Generous Giving partnered with Christ Temple Baptist Church, led by Bishop Devay Myatt Sr., to continue serving the community.

Every Christmas Eve, we distribute Generous Giving donations through the church. Together, we're building a food pantry inside the church stocked with non-perishable items available to the community year-round.

The Vision

Our Own Building

Karen's dream is to one day have a dedicated building for Generous Giving — a place for meals, storage, and community. A space with a mural that represents the spirit of Detroit and the people we serve.

A building that stands as a beacon — so that long after she's gone, the charity continues to thrive and serve.
