Our Mission
Feeding, Clothing, and Caring for Detroit
What started as a blanket drive on Martin Luther King and 3rd Street has grown into a movement. Generous Giving Detroit collects and distributes blankets, hats, gloves, toiletries, pillows, and hot meals to those in need.
Founded by Karen Cannady, our mission is rooted in one simple belief: you don't have to go out of the country to serve — the need is great right here.
